The Venice Area Garden Club seeks to develop our members' knowledge of Florida gardening and participate in civic beautification, designing, planting and maintaining gardens throughout the community. We provide continuing education and resources for gardening, horticultural and floral design; and support the preservation of our fragile Florida environment.

VAGC Horticulture “ROAD TRIP”
The Horticulture Committee is planning a “Road Trip” to attend the
Autumn Garden Festival at the Edison/ Ford
Winter Estates in Fort Meyers, Florida
Saturday, November 22nd

This is one of the largest garden events in Southwest Florida. More than 60 vendors
from around the state will have tropical and native plants and trees for sale. The
festival takes place outdoors and features food trucks and live music on the beautiful
grounds of the estate. Parking and admission to the festival is free (tours of the
homes, museum and lab are not included). See their website for more details.
Last year we had 3 cars and a truck of members and friends car pool for a day of great
fun, food, and plants.
We would be leaving the Venice area by 8:00 am and to return by 5:30.

drive
