New members joining VAGC at any time during the year pay $35 dues for the current club operating year, which runs from May 1 through April 30 of each year. Annual membership dues are not prorated based on when a member joins VAGC. There is also a one-time $15 new member fee that covers materials, a nametag , tote bag, a yearbook, a gift certificate of $10 to the garden shop, and a t-shirt.

Each year, VAGC, members continue to pay $35 for annual membership dues to renew their membership. Annual membership dues are collected between February 1 and April 1 and cover the upcoming club year.

Venice Area Garden club is an active, working group of women and men. We share a "sense of community" as a result of sharing common interests and goals. We welcome everyone and love the variety of ideas and expertise that our members share with each other.

Committees and Projects

Our meetings and most activities are held during the day.

Guests are always welcome at our monthly membership meetings held on Thursday mornings from October until June at the Venice United Church of Christ, Naarl Hall, 620 Shamrock Blvd. Venice FL

Come early at 9:30 AM for coffee and tea, chat with some members, learn from our monthly speaker at 10 AM, and stay for lunch with us after the 11 AM business meeting.
