PRESIDENT'S LETTER

Welcome to the 2024-2025 Venice Area Garden Club Year. As I begin my third year as the Venice Area Garden Club’s President, I am reminded of the joy of membership in a garden club. It is a pleasure to work beside fellow floral designers, crafters, horticulturalists, and civic beautification volunteers, as well as those people who dedicate themselves to the running of the club and to our mission. All the members that serve as officers and perform the duties of finding good programs, managing our finances, maintaining our website and Facebook page, awarding scholarships, chairing our Garden Tour, and planning adventurous tours, performing holiday decorating, creating our yearbook, planning and executing our wonderful meetings and special luncheons. This only names part of all we do. I hope our entire membership will be active and embrace our mission. We invite all new members to actively join us in conducting the tenants of our mission statement below:

The mission of the VAGC is to provide continuing education and resources in order to raise awareness of the rewards of gardening and to provide the study of horticulture and the art form of floral design while building alliances supporting the preservation of the environment and participating in the beautification of our community.

Thank you all for the time and talent you generously give to our club. We are looking forward to a great 2024-25 VAGC Year!
