Thank you to our donors, the Community Foundation of Sarasota County and the Patterson Foundation.  A special thank you to our member, Leslie Seibert, who pulled all the information together for our organization to be a participating nonprofit in this event.

During the 2026 Giving Challenge, more than 50,800 donor made more than 80,700 gifts to a record 751 participating nonprofits.  The VAGC was proud to participate and appreciates the generosity of the Patterson Foundation's match 1:1 on donations $25-$100 per unique donor, per organization, with no limit on the number of individual matches a nonprofit could receive.

The monies VAGC received will be used for programs, services and operations benefiting the Venice Community
